Rancho Cucamonga Sunrize Rotary Club

The Club is involved with the following organizations, charities and activities.  This list is always being added to, so check back often for updates.



Rotary Youth Leaderhip Awards

The Rancho Cucamonga Sunrize Rotary Club is a proud supporter in RYLA.  RYLA is the Rotary's youth leadership training program that emphasizes Leadership, Citizenship, and Personal Growth.  Applications are taken for local High School Juniors from September 1st through October 15th.  Please contact the RYLA Chairperson to get further information on RYLA.
Rotary/Target Christmas Shopping Spree

Each year the Rancho Cucamonga Sunrize Rotary, with the help of the Rancho Cucamonga Rotary, Upland Rotary, Inland Valley YMCA, and local school  districts,  give approximately 100 needy and deserving youth in our area  a shopping spree at Target (TM) located at the Terra Vista Town Center.

Target has been a huge and generous supporter of this annual event.  If you wish to help sponsor a deserving youth, please contact our Shopping Spree Chairman.

 

The Rancho Cucamonga Sunrize Rotary is the Chartering Organiztion for three units of the Boy Scouts of America.

Cub Scout Pack 634, serving families of Bear Gulch Elementary School and the surrounding neighborhoods.  Cub Scouting is for boys and their families from First through Fifth grades.  Cub Scouts teaches Citizenship, sportsmanship and fitness, spiritual growth, fun and adventure, family understanding, respectful relationships and much much more. 


Boy Scout Troop 634

Troop 634, serving the Rancho Cucamonga community since 1988, for boys and young men from 11 through 17 years old.  The mission statement of the BSA is:
"...to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law"


Venture Crew 634

Venture Crew 634 serving Rancho Cucamonga and surrounding areas for young men and ladies from 14 through 20 years old.

An important goal in Venturing isis to help young adults be responsible and caring persons, both now and in the future.  Venturing is based on a unique and dynamic relationship between youth, adult leaders, and organizations in their community.
